Life on the Mississippi by Mark Twain

This is an autobiographic look at Twain’s years as a cub pilot on the Mississippi.  He wrote this in 1874—It is relevant today.  This is a grand book!  I am savoring this book!  Mr. Twain writes in a manner that includes the reader.   I am so happy to be reading this!!

This book tells the story of a young woman who lived through a bloody genocide in Rwanda.  Miraculously she survived to tell her story, which will captivate you.  Immaculee’s tremendous faith in God helped her survive the three months that she was hidden in a bathroom with seven other women.  You will be amazed at the courage and strength Immaculee found in her darkest hours.  She is truly an inspiration of hope.
