If you enjoy paranormal romance with a lot of action, this first in a series might be a good choice for you. Riley Jensen is a rare mix of vampire and werewolf. When her twin brother is taken hostage, Riley must take an active role in saving him while fighting against her own desire for a seductive vampire that turns up on her door
step.

A moving and emotional story about a father and son in a post apocalyptic setting trying to get to the coast. Along the way, they meet all kinds of people—good and bad. It is a journey where there is nothing but devastation but there is also love.

This is an Alex Delaware novel. This one is darker than his previous novels but definitely worth reading. Interesting plot twists.

Deep Storm by Lincoln Child

This book started out boring but once I got into it, it
improved. Guys would enjoy it. It is an archaeological dig deep under the sea on the ocean’s floor, a medical mystery, conspiracy abounds, and secrets galore. Good reading for anyone.
Cat Lover
The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards
5 Stars
You will not want to put this book down. The characters are strong ones—you will likely find yourself hating the doctor who “means well” when he asks his nurse to take away his Down’s Syndrome twin and lets his wife believe she gave birth to two children, one died at birth. Far-fetched? Maybe not for 1964.

In this third book in the series, I think Jo is finally
willing to accept her powers. I hope so. She can do so much good.
Schnauzer Power
The Templar Legacy by Steve Berry
5 Stars
If the DaVinci Code created a stir among people, they should read this. Same premise about something hidden of true faith and there are clues to follow. Puts the 4 gospel writers right in the middle. Clues to follow and various discoveries to be make. Loved every bit of it.
Schnauzer Power
Lean Mean Thirteen by Janet Evanovich

Janet has come through again. I love how Joe and Ranger do a tag team of protection for Stephanie. Of course, there is car problems and someone loses a whole engine. My favorite character, Grandma, has two boyfriends this time. This is another laugh-out-loud novel. You will enjoy this.
Schnauzer Power

This first in the Stephanie Plum series sets the stage for all the fun in the next 13 books. This is a laugh-out-loud book. I love Grandma. If you need a laugh, this book is for you.

The First Time by Joy Fielding

I really enjoyed this book. It was about the commitment we make when we get married, even when things go wrong. It’s about a couple finding love again as they are facing a medical tragedy.

See Jane Run by Joy Fielding
4 Stars
This book held my attention because it was suspenseful. Through some tragic events in Jane’s life, she had a loss of memory. She remembers little of her past, but in her coat pocket she had $10,000 in cash and blood on her dress. Eventually her identity was discovered as she tried to resume her life. Her doctor husband was ‘helping’ her to get well by medicating her. Jane finally figured out what was really happening to her but no one believed her. I hope you like the book!

The Beach Club by Elin Hilderbrand

This book has a good flow. Characters that are easy to recognize, down to earth, the author makes you feel like you know them. There is mystery, intrigue, romance, suspense, an exotic place, everything to make reading this book a breeze for summer!!
Haunted 5
Whispers and Lies by Joy Fielding
4 Stars
I tend to speed read. Then when the ending is 100% weird and unimaginable, I go back & read the book over and get an entirely different slat on the story. This plot or ending just was so totally different. The story kept you wondering all the way through. It is a good read but makes you wonder what sort of mind Joy Fielding has.
Mystery Lover
The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult

An interesting family book with accusations of rape, infidelity, forgiveness and love. Well written.
