Mystery Reviews 2007
Died in the Wool by Mary Kruger
3 Stars
It was okay but it was not as good as some of the other books I have read on knitting and craft stores.
Cat Lover
Smoke in the Wind by Peter Tremayne
5 Stars
This is a Sister Fidelma and Broth Eadulf story about life in seventh century Ireland. They solve a murder of a young woman and discover why the local monastery has disappeared. Along the way, they get kidnapped by some bad guys who are plotting something mysterious and deadly. As always, their explanation makes it seem so easy to solve but it isn’t.
Cat Lover
Invisible Prey by John Sandford
5 Stars
I have liked the whole Prey series, but this is the best. Lucius Davenport is great.
Schnauzer Power
The Cat who Could Read Backwards by Lilian Jackson Braun
5 Stars
It has been years since I first read this book. It is as delightful as ever. Qwill and Koko meeting for the first time and solving three murders. I have enjoyed the whole “cat who” series. I may have to reread some more.

Witch Hunt by Shirley Damsgaard

This 4th in the series with Ophelia and Abby is just as good as the first three. Ophelia is still learning about her craft. Now with Ophelia adopting Tink and Tink learning about what it means to be a medium, the fun and mystery multiplies.
Schnauzer Power
Cold Case by Stephen White
5 Stars
I never did guess who did it. Wish there was a real Locard. This would make a good movie.
Schnauzer Power
Glass Houses by Jane Haddam
3 Stars
The book seemed really weird. It is not a book that I would read again, but it introduced me to this author and I will try more of her books.
