Books for Lunch Book Discussion Group

This group gathers on the first Monday of each month at 12:00 p.m. to discuss different books selected by the group.  Everyone is welcome to come, listen and share.  Bring your lunch, if you wish.  Dessert and beverages are provided by the participants and the Friends of the Library.  Copies of each title should be available to borrow from the library.

Books for Lunch

This noon gathering provides an informal opportunity for readers to get together and talk about what they are reading.  Bring your lunch or just your interest and come to the library on the third Monday of the month.  Dessert and beverages provided by the Friends of the Library or the participants.

Sit and Stitch

Join other crafters at this bimonthly gathering to share crafting and conversation.  Gatherings are every first and third Wednesday from 1-3 pm in the Hoffman Community Room.

If daytime doesn't work for you, but you would like to join the fun of crafting and sharing and talking and laughing, maybe these evening sessions will fit your schedule.  Gatherings are every second and fourth Wednesday from 6-8 pm.

"Know Nothing About Computers?"
(2 hour class)

These classes are for those who "Know Nothing" about computers.  Students will learn computer basics including turning on the computer, using the mouse, setting up an email account and looking things up on the Internet.  Registration is required as the class size is limited.  Contact the library to find out if these classes are being offered.

Classic Movies @ Your Library 2:00 pm

On the second Wednesday of each month, the library will show a classic movie in the Hoffman Community room.  Popcorn and beverages will be provided by the Friends of the Library. 

Book Flicks @ 7:00 pm

On the second Monday of each month, the library will show a film that is based on a book.  Copies of the book will be available for interested parties to check out prior to the film showing.
